Description
Dalacin C 300mg Capsule is a lincosamide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the stomach, intestines, bones, joints, and lungs. Its application in post-operative scenarios also helps to avoid infections at the surgical site. The growth of the infection-causing bacteria is inhibited by this capsule. It is ineffective in treating viral infections.
Common side effects include headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and weakness. Use it with caution in patients with gastrointestinal (mouth to anus) disorders, particularly colitis (swelling of the inner lining of the colon), as it may cause severe diarrhea.
Only bacterial infections can be treated or prevented with Dalacin C 300mg Capsule. Completing the whole course of treatment is always advised when starting an antibiotic. This medication can be used with or without food. Take it at roughly the same time every day to make remembering easier.
